Top Ten Winter Classic

I can't stand it any longer...what happened to the trophies/rosettes that were given in past years?????

All the winners got was a UKC t-shirt and the other participants got nothing!!!!

Have to pay entry fees all year to stay in top ten, then pay entry to show, only to get a 't-shirt'???? just doesn't seem right.

ok, I've vented now. let me have it!!!

Cynthia...
Last year all participants got small plaques and they gave some pretty cool acrylic trophies for the overall breed winners. I was curious to what happened to them this year as well. I was really wanting another one of those acrylic trophies like I got last year since I was lucky enough to win the breed again!

Yea, me too. I wanted something more than a shirt that I could have bought. This is the first time I've won breed too. Guess things are getting cheaper just like what you ran into about some $$$.

Well, I gotta say. I have gotten more use out of that t-shirt already, than I have outta that plaque from last year.
A UKC polo shirt or a cash credit towards a UKC product would have been a better prize.

I was disappointed too.. All that work all year and nothing to show. It will probably be the last time I play the top ten game.

guess we'll have to move over to *KC and the big money wins!!

Do any of you know if WC #'s were down this year?

Posted by Cynthia on 02-04-2007 03:01 AM:

numbers...

don't know if anyone will admit it, but from I saw and many others commented on...yes they were down. There were several classes that only had 1 entry in it.
