What we are up against

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy...7012901861.html

It is unfortunate that there is no mention of HSUS true intentions. Eliminate all animal use including pets. Look at the photo used in the article. Pacelle sure knows how to work people. I would bet that the majority of their donations are from pet lovers

We need to educate the general public. I am going to write to the Washington Post about the hypocrisy of HSUS. If we can get all the pet lovers educated to the true purpose of HSUS, maybe just maybe we can slow down their donations. Their power is in their bank accounts, and that is where we need to attack.

Funny that the article doesn't mention that Wayne Pacelle was a past officer of PETA. It also tries to make it look like HSUS and PETA are two completely different and unrelated organizations. In fact, it comes off making it look like they're sort of in competition with each other.

I'd say that reporter didn't do a whole lot of homework.

When did HSUS and PETA combine into one organization?

HSUS and PETA are two seperate organizations with the same agenda ---- Animal Right Freaks with one goal of making all the money each organization can make and using animals rights as a mean to make that money.

All that money and no conservation programs to show for.

Annie the only connection PETA and HSUS has with each other is their Animal Rights agendas (as well as a former PETA Employees now working for HSUS) --- the donation money trail isn't shared, each is building it's own treasure chest.

Never said I knew it all, but please show us all where PETA and HSUS are one organization and not 2 seperate organization.

I am very interested in seeing how they are 1 organization.

HSUS 2004 Net Assets $111,021,299

PETA 2005 Net Assets $12,211,427
