LORD I HOPE SO. THE ONLY TREES WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE A COON IS IF WE TURN OUT AT OR BEFORE THE EDGE OF DARK. SEEEMS LIKE THE COONS ARE FEEDING MIDDLE OF THE DAY & THEN LAYING UP EXCEPT THE BOAR COONS. THEY SEEM TO TRAVELING CONSTANTLY.

Not forsure about NC, but here in Va this is the time of year when you find out if you have a coon dog, or just a dog that will tree a coon.
Last night was the first night I had out in almost 3 weeks due to this bad knee. 1st race was 1hr and 9mins long. Next was right at a hour long. Den on the first tree and shot a big boar out on the second tree.

The rut, love it or hate is the line that all hounds have to cross before I will call them a coon dog.

been like that around here to. if you do run somthing it takes for ever to tree and then you have to go through hell alot of times to get to the tree.

If you cant be in the woods coonhunting you should be dreaming about it. If you cant dream about coonhunting then you should be were it all counts, in the woods.

RECORDS are broken FIRST is forever.

Seem to be either a lay-up or a long track the last couple or three weeks.

We've been having good luck and enjoying the hunting and treeing some coons though.
