Sell Or Finish?

A buddy of mine was offered good money for his Trackman pup and she is doing real good. She will have no trouble in the hunts. Plus shes bred real good. I told him to keep her and win some hunts more money can be made later. Plus money will not replace possably the best dog you may ever own. What do you all think?

Keep her if you like her. I once sold my dog after being offered lots of money. I ended up spending more then what I got for him before I found another. Never made that mistake again.

the best time to sell something, is when somebody wants to buy it.

TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS, IF YOU LIKE THE PUP AND YOU'RE NOT SURE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO, THEN KEEP IT.

WE MESSED UP AND SOLD THE BEST YOUNG PUP WE'VE EVER RAISED AND IT'S TAKEN US 7 LONG MONTHS, BUT WE'RE FINALLY GOING TO BE GETTING HIM BACK.

MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO COON DOGS. MONEY CAN BE MADE EVERY DAY, BUT A GOOD HONEST TO GOODNESS COON DOG CANT.

If these are top reproducing dogs, another one will come right behind it, just price it high enough.

If its that good I may have to come down for a hunt and make and offer to. Hunted with a trackman pup a lot during season and he impressed the sh!t out of me.

This young man has been coon hunting for 10- 15 years he LOVES coon hounds! He told me his goal is to have a room full of trophies. I took him to his first comp. hunt and went as a spectator. He did real good for not knowing the rules real good.
If would known the rules a little better he would have won his first two hunts! The dog he was hunting is not the female we are talking about but a very good male hes got. Not only is he hooked he has rehooked myself into comp. hunting!

If he's been offered alot of money for her he'd best sell her. Alot of times when someone is offered BIG money for a hound and they turn it down something happens and it usually ends up dead.

I know exactly how he feels, I was offered a nice chunk of money for my Trackman dog. It was a hard thing to do but it worked out so far he is turning into the best hound I have had and he is just 17 months old and I have a littermate also that is making a nice one. Its not always about the money but if offered more than I can turn down they will own him no matter how good he gets.
