Kennel Name Check-

I'm wanting a name to put in front of all my current hounds. The one that I'm shooting for is "Top Notch" has anybody heard of this used by anyone else. If so I won't use it. Thanks.

Here in Mo there is a couple guys who are partners on some awesome rabbit hunting dogs and they call it "Top Notch Kennels". But there beagles not coon dogs. Hope this helps.. Jonah

It was used on some blueticks (big blues) many years ago, but I don't know if it was an actual kennel name.

Yes there is a guy in Alabama, the has the name Top-Notch on his kennels.

My wife is cracking up. I used to deal with this horse trader type of guy some 8 or 9 years ago. Anyhow he had two sayings when he was promoting something, you know trying to sugar coat it. Anyhow Top Notch was one, but the other and the one I liked was Jam-up.

Hers an example of wht he would say, " Ol joe is a Top Notch track dog, and bygod a Jam-up tree dog". Never bought a dog from this guy just liked to hang around when I was out loafering. He was a friggin trip.

If you cant use Top Notch, think about Jam-up.

I've ben looking around for anyone that has used the name so far I have found very little. I did happen to come across the old blueticks from a while ago. I'll keep checking.
