Early end to my season

Last tuesday morning I found my bluetick, ch. nitech. Killer B's Radical Rowdy had passed away in his dog house. We had been hunting just a few days before and he put on a show for a guy that I work with that had never coon hunted before. Even monday he seemed fine. I spoke with my vet and he said that it was more than likely a heart attack or anurism, because he was not acting ill at all before I found him dead. This really sucked! I was crushed.

So Sorry

For your loss! The thoughts and prayers of the WIlliam family are with you. Losing them stinks no matter how. I figure when they go in their sleep it has to be peaceful. Maybe he was dreaming about treeing a Big old coon when he went. I hope your heart will stay filled with his memories. I think hes up there, treeing with those who went before him.
I'm very sorry for your loss, hope you can find a nice hound to fill the empty space left behind and keep Radical Rowdy with you in your heart on every hunt in the future,
SIncerely, Heather William

I'm really sorry for your loss Kennie. It's hard to lose any animal, but it's even harder to lose a hunting buddy. We develop a special bond with our coonhounds and it's one that can't be matched by any other dog. He's up in hound heaven running with the legends! I hope you find a wonderful new dog when the time's right for ya.

We're extremely sorry to hear that Kennie.
We also just lost a hound. Found him yesterday morning on the roadside, dead. He had just came home with us on Saturday evening, from the Stines.
He stayed in the house that night, waiting for Dave to get a kennel ready for him. He played with the kids all evening, had frosted flakes for breakfast! The kids fell in love with him. He was so calm and gentle with them, for 14 months old, that surprised me. The kids went out to feed the other hounds, he shot out the door and took off. We hunted for him and tracked him all over, to no avail. Dave found him on his way to work yesterday morning.
I feel so bad, not only for Henry, and the kids that fell in love with him. But also for Wes and Dianne, they knew we'd take good care of him, they trusted us. I'm still sick over it. He hadn't started hunting yet, but we had big plans for him....I'M SORRY HENRY! WE'LL MISS YOU!!

Eric H I'll try to get ahold of you in the next few days.
Jeff I sent you a P.M.
Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers I appreciate them, Rowdy may not of been a world beater but he was 100% coondog he was never really outclassed by any other dog I've been to the woods with.
