Nice pictures but man if I had pups like that I think I'd put tracking collars on them, jmo.

Posted by Lance Johnson on 01-22-2007 03:17 AM:

they dont hunt wide enogh yet and the place I hunt them they have no where to really go and anyones house they might end up at will call lke they always have!! Name & numbers on the collar!!! They will get trackers when they are ready!!

Did they do this by themselves or

did you have an old dog also? Either way they sure look nice.
Looks like these son's of Rat are reproducing like the old man.

Posted by Lance Johnson on 01-23-2007 08:02 PM:

they were alone......they wont do this everynight, nore with they tree those hard coons but they are both on there ways!!

I think the male is headed to Louisiana and the female is headed to Georgia for some hunting for a couple months or more!!!!

Posted by Wesley Sanford on 01-24-2007 12:03 AM:

That will be great, getting them hunted down south while it is cold up here , under different type of terrain. Get them back before the snakes and gators come out down there though!!!!!!!

Posted by Lance Johnson on 01-24-2007 12:12 AM:

ha ha.....these elvis pups aint scared of no snakes or gators!!!!

The guy that bought Stars brother from me last week has been hunting him...he said he is going out better and better everynight and they knocked his first coon to him and he got in on it pretty good!!!!

Wes you need to get off the couch and get some pics to me of Stars brother "Tom-Tom" and the female "Lady" ( or so I called her)

Thanks William,

I have actually been in a little rut lately....2004 GMC truck is torn up and after one week and $600 the dealership still doesnt know whats wrong wth it!!!!!!! I am also back in school and my hunting is going to slow down a little, thats why my pups are heading south.....I have been extremely lucky to develop a relationship with a guy in Georgia that has already hunted one pup for me for a year and is going to take thsi Elvis female now....and I have also met another extremely nice guy that if everything works out as planned will have Owdy in Louisiana in a week or two.......I am hoping between my prospects, Wesley's prospects looking better than ever, and a few other buddies of mine with nice young Elvis pups that this will be the year for Elvis pups in the Baby Stakes and the next couple years these pups will HOPEFULLY start showing up in bigger hunts and the Super Stakes!!!!!

Maybe eventually Wesley will just put me on a pay roll for working so hard constantly campaigning his stud dog!!!!
I have had e-mails people thinking I own part of him!!
I might just move in that pretty cabin on the hill of his and hire him!!
LOL!!!!!! Wesley treats me VERY good so I cant complain!!

Are you still hunting any Elvis pups now???

Posted by GaWalkerHunter05 on 01-24-2007 12:40 AM:

Where in Georgia

are you gonna be hunting with this guy?

Posted by Lance Johnson on 01-24-2007 01:01 AM:

he lives in almost the dead center of georgia!!!

Elvis Pups

Hey Lance,

No I fooled around and the ones out of the two litter's that I had kept for myself, My hunting buddies wanted them. I still get to hunt with them and help in their progress. I am planning another breeding to Elvis this year. I gonna keep some extras this time, maybe hide them behind the barn or something. An old man I used to hunt with told me one time a good hunting partner was better to have then having a great dog. so I am glad you got some buds that will help you out on those sorry Elvis pups. Ha/Ha. Have a good one. Tell Wesley you need a raise. Your working pretty hard. Maybe you can share a house with rufus and try to get that Rabbit. Ha/Ha
