that dog actually on his hind legs streaches up to be 5'3 to his head. he is eye to eye w/ me an im 5'5 . weighs 100+ an thats hunting condition.

he's not the only one neither I have an english dog only a couple inches shorter than him right now an is only 17 mths old.

My kids r watching cartoons for some reason this caught me of guard...said by santa "his blink blinks like a blinkin bliknker" whats next, just thought I would share that w/ you. LOL

I know there are other larger than normal hounds out there show me... oh yeah "massive black" is 30 inches tall on all fours of course that is measured up to the top of his sholder like you woulud measure a bench show dog.

By the way I have a Blue dog too, an a walker an so on...I dont see colors I see potential...

Here is ol Looser. He's a very BIG boy. Only 25" at the shoulder, but seems like hes 8 feet tall streched out on a tree.




To compare, here he is with my 5 year old son.

thats a big hound. And looks great, love to see him hunt, Josh.

My blueticks are not nearly the size of the hounds you have posted pictures of. They are about 24" at the shoulder and the largest one will weigh about 80#. I use to have a Redbone that weighed about 90. He was the biggest one I have ever had,

I have seen pictures of some very large blueticks that seemed from the pictures to be bigger than your black dog. I saw the Walker "Nocturnal Nailor" in Albany Georgia once and he looked like a Holstein calf... a huge dog.

There are certainly many pictures of very big hounds out there if people would post them for you.

Here's a picture of one of mine stretched up a tree. I'm a little over 6' and he can touch my chin with his nose.

A buddy that I hunt with has 100 lbs walker. Hunts like hes a 50lbs one.

Hauled a plott for a guy once that had to be over a 100lbs.
Had a Ford ranger at the time, he jumped on the tailgate
and the whole truck sagged down. Had to back him into the
dog box.

Nailer was from about 15 miles from my house. He was promoted to GRNTCH in local hunts. Your right, he was forevermore huge. Pretty sure he was the biggest hound I ever saw. I always thought he looked like a great dane in a Walker hide.

when i get a good pic of my male briar ill post it he is huge aint never measured but on his back legs hes about 5'6 weighs 114 pounds hes got the bloodhound look

Bluedogman...that dog can strecth out on the wood cant he. Could he possibly get on his back toes any higher? NICE
