nice pics good to see some folks still able to use dogs on big game still , mine got taken from me , but oh well if the beurocratic b.s wants them , lmao they be gettin them .. rite smack in the capital building.... but i will be back into again in a year or so when i move from this hole , i like coon huntin dont get me wrong , but i was brought up on killing bear, bobcat , cougar , and coon with dogs , not just coon and im tired of killin tree rats , i need a good long hard fix , up close and personal with the bigger game animals , i see some of you have not had the chance to hunt bigger game with dogs , boys and girls , buckle up your seat belts ... it is beyond shadow of doubt , the best , but it is not for the faint of heart , i have had to kill bayed up bear as close as 4 feet away on many occasions . cougars , hehehe , well they bring out the knew meaning of ginsu , they pick no bones on how they slice and dice and those claws are indeed razors . a 110 pound cougar can kill and drag off a fully grown 5 point bull elk , that is raw , brute strength with a touch of attitude.. but it is fun to tree a cougar or a bear , run a bobcat , i miss it and cant wait to get back to it... happy hunting folks and again nice pics ..

I read all of your post and wished I could try big game with hounds. I just can't aford to. I have to settle with coon hunting. When I lived in the south I loved hog hunting. the rush of seeing the hounds work a bayed hog.

Steve, thanks for bringing up those pictures,I hadn't seen those ones.
