What dogs are producing hard going, quick type dogs, that stay?

Looking to breed a sackett jr x maniac bred female that has reproduced well. Well balanced female, but looking to breed her to something that will put more drive, fast hunters, get it treed and not trail all night type of dog. I got that from a cross on stylish harry, but that is no longer an option. thanks

I've hunted with several top notch dogs and plenty of average dogs. What is consistently throwing an above average accurate and quick type hound. A fast, quick hound to me is one that hunts out fast, take there tracks out fast to the correct tree and stays. This type of hound will be 1/4 mile deeper than the dog that is smelling up every leaf, and will have the coon treed before the other dogs get going good. This dog will need to be independant enough that it wont be worring what the other dogs are doing. I had a dog straight off of old lipper once that could take any track and move it out fast and get it treed, and boy what a treedog. Had another good one out of stylish harry that really done well when he worried about himself and not the other dogs. Hunted with Jet Son Style and he got in there fast and quick and got a coon treed. Hunted with Weeze Heat many years a go and she was some kind of quick.

Hunted a good bit with one out of Rank and he was hard going, quick, stay put tree dog. He never stood on his head. If he barked 10 times he would have it treed, and he would be 3/4 of a mile in 5-10 minutes consistently. Is there anything out there is consistently throwing this type of hound or is this the exception?

Hunted once with wolf creek tree buster, he was fast, hard hunter and quick.

Hunted against Wild Clyde once when he was young, and he got in there quick and looked good.

Hunted with low country bozo once, I believe he was a brother to nite heat. He was really fast on a running coon.

I've hunted with several Buck Creek dogs that had the quickness you speak of.

I've never hunted with anything Buck Creek Bred. Is that a strain on its own or what stock do they go back to? What is a general description of the Buck Creek Dogs? I see where eye knot and mr smith have done well.

Fletchers stylish Jake

I have seen alot of nice hounds out of that jake dog. he definetly is a reproducer

I like the breeding on the Joker. Does anyone know what style that litter of hounds are as a whole? Abby, Molly, Trash, Joker?
What type op pups is he reproducing.

I've always liked how Jake is bred. I have not hunted with many Jake pups, but I hear they are action packed.

Also what is crossing well on Harry females, besides Rat. that will build on the good (loud houndy mouths, and track drivers). May need a little settling down (sometimes have big ears)

The litter as a whole has been one of if not the most sucessfull litters in walker history. they have around $150,000 won in PKC I believe that all of them are at least nite champions.

As for pups I have one here that has been in the woods about 10 times total he is really starting to click. Treed his own through a herd of deer last week. He is really surprising me every time out.

I have hunted with one other pup out of him that is super nice, it would take alot of money to buy him. I have also talked to a few other people that own/owned pups out of him that are hooked onm them. A very serious pleasure hunter around here says that the two Joker pups that he has had are the best he has ever been in the woods with. And he has been in with some legends.

I've hunted with a female at the spring ss that I believe was out of Tar or one of his sons. She would get treed and stay, a real tree dog. I've hunted several times with a sister to Storm & Thunder. She gets treed quick and is a real tree dog. She has not been hunted like she needs to be hunted, pack hunted a lot, but could be real hard to beat.

Stone has thrown some real good dogs, but the ones I've hunted with are not my style.

Rat is a great reproducer for sure, will break his daddy's records as far as percentages before he is finished.

THE SISTER TO STORM AND THUNDER, HER NAME WAS JACKIE
SOLD TO A PLEASURE HUNTER. I WON THE $120. ON HER FOR BUD STEPHENS, AND PUT SOME SHOW WINS ON HER , HE NEVER HUNTED HER IN ANY HUNTS. THE WON YOU HUNTED AT THE SUPER STAKES WAS MOLLY I WOULD SAY. JACKIE NEVER WAS SINGLED OUT JUST GROUP HUNTED. TILL I GOT HER BACK DOWN HERE. GUESS THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME SHE WAS SINGLED OUT BUT TO OLD THEN.
