new hunting partner

i just wanted to tell everyone out here that i have a new hunting partner . i am very proud of him . he strusk his dog last night when she barked , he treed her when she was treed . we got to the tree and he helped me shine the tree. and found the coon with me . he did a great job and i am glad my son is getting interested in coonhunting ....... OH BY THE WAY I DIDNT MENTION THE HE IS MY 4 YEAR OLD SON PAYTON ....... I LOVE HIM TO DEATH

That's so great. Kids are the future of this sport...our 2 year old already loves to go to the tree with us!

Thats great copperhead creek . My nephew will be 3 in january and he loves to go. We took him one night when me and his dad went and he loved it the dogs treed and I had to tote him a long ways but it was worth it cuz he's hooked. I went to get one of my brother's dogs and the tracking system a couple of weeks ago an he was supposed to be asleep. When i went in to get the tracking system he woke up and saw me with it and he jumped out of bed and started putting his clothes on and was mad at us when we told him to go back to bed. Now everytime I see him he looks in the dogbox and asks where my dogs are. I love him to death and like you I am glad he enjoys something that me and his dad love to do.

Great to hear, I still haven't gotten the 11 yr old to go to the woods yet...Thought about the youth hunt but we won't be able to make it this year, have to deliver a dog to VA.
Expecting another one come April, if the 11 yr old doesn't work out, I might still get a coonhunter yet! LMAO
