Rules Questions

I have a question about a rule?I didn't think that if you turned in a scorecard not complete, that the master of hound would give it back to the owner of the dog to finish filling out.In this case the owner wasn't hunting the dog.He had another handler. But I saw this happen weekend before last at a mini slam.

if the card is incomplete ( not completed in the woods ) the card is invalid ... what wasnt completed ? if it was the cast winner not signing the card then he or she is scratched and the next + point member of the cast is the winner .... all other incompleteness is grounds for the whole cast getting scratched

There are things that can be incomplete without disqualifing the card. Things like filling out coons scored, coons seen, county hunted, etc. If all scores were not tallied up, that would make the card incompletely filled out but not scratched. Signatures are what is required to qualify the card. However, nothing on the card should be completed back at the clubhouse, that is a no-no.

To qualify a card MUST show strike and tree positions correctly, pluss or minus,
and be signed. The judge has to sign only once, although he may sign in two places if he wants to.
