What can one man do?

I left my small home town about 6 months ago, but I still talk to my friends back home on a regular basis. At first we talked about all the good coon hunting I've been missing, but now all I hear is how many illegal aliens have invaded our town.
Today I talked to a guy I went to high school with, he told me that these illegal alians are now working at the auto parts store, Home Depot, and as janitors in the local hospital and schools. He said the ones at Home Depot, and as janitors in the hospital don't speak ONE word of english. I feel like there's something that needs to be done, something I can do, but what?

What can one man do?

This is something that's happening all over our country, but I don't plan to give up my small home town (population 5,000) without a fight ! ! !

Dang your lucky you have avoided them this long.Looks like with yall being from texas they would have already taken over.Heck we are OVERPOPULATED with em here in GA. Would not hurt my feelings if they rounded em all up and shipped back home.Set snipers all along the boarder and if one crosses the line take them out.Would not take much of that and they would stop crossing the boarder.

Not to be rude, but a straight democratic ticket is not the answer. Did Bill Clinton not open up the doors for illegal immigrants??? Most Democrats do not have a good stand on illegal immigrants. I am not a straight ticket voter. I pick who stands for the things that I believe. Tx Stud Dog has the correct answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want a change in it, VOTE KINKY FRIEDMAN!!! He has already addressed this issue many times. As a matter of fact, I attended one of his speeches, and he said if he was elected--It would be his top priority!

Don't get me wrong, they've ALWAYS been there, for as long as I can remember. But in past years we only saw them in the summer time. They'd come around wanting to load hay bails, or wanting to do your yard work. They would hang around town long enough to make a few bucks, then they were gone again.

My buddy's wife (the guy I mentioned at the top of this thread) works as a teller in the local bank, one of only two banks in town. And she says that they (Mexicans) come into the bank wanting to cash pay checks. The have NO ID, and speak NO english. These checks are from Brookshires, Home Depot, the local schools, and the hospital. How do they get jobs at these places without ANY type of ID, and not knowing any english!

When I say they have INVADED, that's exactly what I mean.

Now to be fair......
I have not stopped every Mexican I see on the street to check their legal statis. But I do have a brain, and I know that if they don't speak any english, and they don't have any ID, they are most likely NOT LEGAL.

About voting......
Voting is very important, and I encourage evryone that can vote to vote. But I want some serious action taken against these illegal aliens, and I don't think my one vote will do that.

It's kind of sad that in America people don't understand the real issues, and who the bad guys really are. I am a poor person, and I don't even have a farm. By the way, I am an American. Republican; Democrat...are just titles. I want to know what a person stands for, their past records, and what they believe. I don't care if he/she is rep. or dem. it is the issues that affect my children, and grandchildren that concern me.

Here's a fun fact for you folks. Please feel free to double-check this info. In Texas, 1 out of 3 cars stopped on the road are spanish speaking only. That's 33.3% of drivers. So it only stands to reason that if they can't speak english, then they also can't read english. So 33.3% of drivers on the road can't read stop signs, caution signs, speed limit signs, etc.
