UKC Treeing cur registration

I am not sure if i understand this correctly. I have a treeing walker bitch (ukc reistered) and a Large (42 lbs not fat ) English Cocker working dog that i use for mixed bag hunting (CKC registered). I would like to breed the two to tailor make a dog that would suit my purposes . As far as i can understand it would be conceivable to register these pups as Treeing Curs. Is this allowed? of course i have all the relevent information and pedigrees for both animals. I would like to start a breeding program and would like to know the information required to register them.

this is a quote from your Treeing Cur write up-------------

Treeing Cur - The Treeing Cur is a breed of Cur dogs that originates from a cross of two tree dog parents. At one point these dogs were unable to be registered and were considered "grade Dogs". These crosses were by no means lesser dogs. At first only a Cur to Cur cross was accepted, then they allowed Cur to Hound, now it is only necessary that only one parent be of Tree Dog ancestry (Hound, Cur, Feist). The Treeing Cur breed of dog has grown as people are breeding for desired traits, not just name. The United Kennel Club is now registering this breed of dog. It is now very common to see Treeing Curs dominating some of the top competition results. People are realizing that through excellent breeding programs, they can individualize their Curs to fit their needs. Treeing Curs may be used on squirrel, coon and all types of big game.

Thank you for your time

Oh boy. UKC discourages mixed breeding. However, since these dogs are used for hunting only, the Treeing Cur Association is allowing single registration. Complete the special Cur-Feist Single application, send pictures of your dog. Treeing Curs are not eligible for conformation. Email me and I will send you the special application. sjonas@ukcdogs.com

Both sire and dam of a litter must be UKC registered under the same breed before the litter can be registered.
