Registering a puppy....

I just purchased an American Staffordshire pup. He is currently AKC registered. I would like to register him with the UKC also. I have heard from a couple people that I need to wait until he is 1 year old. Is this true, or can I just send in a Single Registration Application for him now? Thanks for the info!!

Well a year is our guideline. A little less is not bad. We like to see the dog fully developed and in control.
