CCI Subsonics?????

Has anyone ever used these shells for coonhunting. Are they quiet? Are they worth buying a box? I like C.B's but something that will take less shots would be better.

I have tried them there louder than the CB's. I use the CB longs and I can knock a coon out with one or two shots with them.

The subsonic's are a lot louder than CB's. I use short hollow points and they seem to do the trick. We use them all year long (you know what I mean) and never have a problem. I would rather fire once or twice and knock it out rather than have the dogs treeing for 30 minutes while I use CB's. But to answer your question I didn't think the subsonics were very quiet especially not suited for hunting around the city out of season. Don't ask me how I know. Good luck

Save your money they arent any good.A cb long will kill most coon if your a good shot....I use them in the winter time around houses.They work fine for me..........
