Attention MO Residents

FYI the Parks and Soils Sales tax is up for renewal here in MO, on the August 8th ballot. In case you didn't know 1/10 of 1 percent of the sales tax collected in MO is dedicated for and divided equally between the state park system and soil conservation. This is not a new tax, simply a renewal. This money will be collected either way, it's just how the pot is divided up.

I cannot speak much on the soil side of the issue although I know it benefits farmers but 80% of the state park budget comes from this tax, its defeat would likely result in the loss of jobs and the closing of some state parks. As a state park employee and fellow coon hunter, I would appreciate your support on Tuesday.
