My condolenses to the Art Kirch Family
Fellow coon hunter Art Kirch died of a apparent heart attack last night at Argyle Wi.
I have drawn out with Art several times over years, and always had a good hunt. Art was a straight shooter and genuine good guy.
We'll miss seeing Art at the hunts. My condolences to his family.

Very sorry to hear about Art. What happened?
There was a mini-slam at Argyle, WI on Saturday night. Art handled a dog, was a guide and judge. The cast hunted for about an hour and was moving to a new location. Art was driving alone in front and suddenly drove off the road. The guys behind him thought he hit a deer. When they stopped and called down to him, they expected the door to his truck to open. It didn't, so they went down to see how he was. When they opened the truck door, it was apparent that he'd had a heart attack or something along those lines. They gave him CPR and called for an ambulance. The ambulance arrived and by the time they left, Art had no pulse. He at least went doing what he loved to do with his friends....the way most of us probably would like to go.

WOW...................Only been in a couple of casts with Art and had alot of fun in those casts. I saw him earlier in the year at a hunt. Thoughts and prayers go to his friends, hunting buddies and his family.
Sympathy, Thoughts and Prayers
From the William family to the Kirch Family. I imagine that this man went the way a Whole lot of coonhunting folks would like to go. This doesn't make the loss any less though. We can only hope that Mr Kirch was just going along thinking about the hunt and...GONE. Now he is in a carefree place, with those who have gone before..coonhunting just got better for him.
May all his family and friends hold him in that special place in their hearts and memories and may that make each day just a little better for each of you,
Sincerely, Heather William
I met Art years ago myself, and enjoyed our conversation. I wish his family the best, and prayers.
Quite a shock!
My husband was hunting out of Argyle that night. It's so sad to lose a good one. We will all miss seeing him around the hunts. Does anyone know what the arrangements are? I would like to send his family my condolences. I will try to look it up and I will post it if I can find it.
