Registration turn around

I just bought a dog and am planning to send the transfer papers in. What’s the turn around time on something like this? This dog is a coonhound, how can I participate in competition while my papers are at UKC?

Right now we are saying to allow about 3 weeks for processing of registration papers, from the time we receive the papers. We do have faster processing & delivery options available on our papers if you want to take advantage of one of those. As far as hunting the dog goes, that is a question for the Hunting Operations Department. If you choose one of the faster processing or delivery options be sure to write attention to that department on the outside of the envelope next to our address.
