Hook won his early round cast last night in Iowa with 400 plus. He advanced to the late round and got beat by a nice female.

Grand Night Ch Get Hooked won Grand Nights hunt Saturday.
He isn't too bad to look at either..
He also won his cast in the all blue hunt and made the finale 4.

Hook could have become just one of those behind the barn hounds that just didnt get taken to town much. That is where Dan Rainville came in and has given him more oppertunity to compete and have more chances to show that he is a winner. My job is to keep him hunt ready so when he is taken to a hunt he can compete on a level that will give us a chance to win with him. I have not had him in an RQE yet this year because of an injury he had. There are a few around and l will try my best to keep him from being just a behind the barn dog.

Ron and Dan!

Thru the weekend you guys have shown that hounds are just that!! When one beats the hound that beat them a few nites ago in the final 4 and wins the cast when he draws the same hound the same weekend.1 often overlooks the nite before. It means that ur gonna win some on nites and loose them on others. No hound will win them all and I know that from my own track number and hauling a few over the years. Congrats for what u guys got done this weekend! Very nice to see for me anyways. If 1 owns an outstanding female and wants to breed her to a nice hound that would compliment her!! Hook would be one to consider!!! Congrats on the weekend!! Danny G.

Bubba Blues there is a female bred now that is due in a month. Kyle Mckee has her. His number is in this thread. There are several more waiting for heat cycle. If you want to call me we can discuss what is supposedly coming his way.

Hook is here with me and available for your inspection. He is a very well natured dog and will try his hardest to get along with the little pups or the ol Grumpy Type. I have videos of Hook moving around the tree to stay out of trouble.

Thank you Blue Dog 1. I have had some nice hounds over the 45 or so years of having the blue dogs. Hook is one of tbe better ones l have started. Thank yous also go out to Dan Rainville for getting him out in to the public eye.

Although l believe there is already a long list waiting, Cricket is showing to be with pups. This is a very well aligned cross and there are a couple simular crosses waiting to happen. Thanks to all that check in on our thread. It is appreciated.

This is what Hook brings to the table

Desire to please

Great one bark tree dog

Hunts to tree coon not get out of pocket

Will go deep but only if needed in most cases

Likes to be by himself but will work with others if struck with
them

He trys to stay out of trouble on the tree with other dogs l have
video to show that

He is not loose mouth on a bad track opens sparinly

The 8 has got him only 2 tracks at this point

Good about having a coon

Other than when he was a young dog very little trash problem

Good looker at least to me

I have seen him come treed in under 10 seconds in a night
hunt with the coon. Scored 1050 that night

Handles like a dream if l need to get him back to me. In most
cases l can steer him like a car with the tone

Hook has many pluses not mentioned here that we take for
granted

If you got this far on this post Thank You..But one more
important thing to look at is!!

Hook is bred to reproduce coon
Tree'ers.

All good points I like. Talked to my Good Friend Dan today about Hook and he said the same things you have noted. Sounds like the type hound anyone would like to follow. Dave Woofter
