Lymes

well folks, had 3 dogs vaccinated for lymes last fall, 2 got it.....what is the criteria for hunting a dog that is diagnosed, No hunting for 30 days? No hunting for a week? watch the dog and make your own determination when to hunt him.......just want to get your opinions, thanks !

Lymes

I just had almost 2 year old female die from this. Make sure you get them treated right away. My female had it for awhile before we found out I believe. She relapsed several times. Eventually she started getting thin and her kidneys shut down and she died. Not supposed to hunt them while on the Doxy. They can overheat easy.. Do not hunt them while being treated.. Best way I’ve found to Prevent it is SERESTO collars. Hope this helps

don't hunt while on doxy. should be on at least a month worth. almost all dogs here in PA get it at some point. Some it makes a huge difference, others you can't tell. Haven't had any since using Simparica.
