Are Winter classic entries going on wait list yet ? I'm thinking about entering as my surgery has been put off and since I have been laying around for 2 weeks feel like maybe hunting.

Not as of this moment wjoey. However, don't be misinformed that wait listed entries might not get to hunt. In the last 15 years, we have hunted every wait listed dog at Oaks and the Classic.

Thing is; with the system we use, we need to have a wait list whether we have 300 or 1000 dogs. Wait listed entries are used to fill up the now shows that were already drawn to a scorecard. Once filled, any remaining wait listed entries are drawn to additional casts as needed to accommodate all entries.

The difference between regular vs wait listed, when it comes to confirming the entry is; those not on the wait list will receive their Cast# at the time when they confirm their entry. Those on the wait list need to come back to the headquarters a little later to pick up their Cast #.

If it's an inconvenience to come back a second time to pick up your Cast#, be one of those who entered earlier.

Thanks Allen but my situation justifies me waiting to the last minute, Im still waiting on a return call from the surgeon to confirm date .

I can take this old dog of mine who hasn't been out but 2 times in the past year and give any of them a run for their money

I'm just waiting on a phone call to confirm the new date for my surgery, My wife is throwing a fit about me wanting to go hunting but I can only be penned up so long ,she wont let me do anything but I will run away before long
