Gr Nt Ch Gr Ch Pr’ Tree Talking JT

JT is a 4 year old redbone that went from nothing to gr nt ch in a month and a half under UKC’s new rules. 5 firsts out of 6 hunts to make Nt ch and 10 hunts with 8 wins to make Gr Nt Ch. ( one hunt won but missed deadline and one hunt no coon seen). Consistent accurate coon dog that wins by getting treed with a coon! Alone or in company JT will be under a coon! One of those rare red dogs that just gets treed. No quirks in the kennel in the woods or in strange company. JT is built right and is a good looking hound that is pleasant to be around. We have a ticket to the 2019 UKC world zones and we won’t be breeding JT until we see how that goes. JT also has PKC money won. A real Mountain coondog in a red hide! Nt Ch McCormicks Flamming True Grit X Nt Ch Ch Pr’ Smiths West Kentucky Curley

JT

JT is 4 years old and is out of True Grit X Curley. Grit is Coffman’s Jericho x a yellow river red female and Curley is basically Brush Buster 2 and Horse creek Harry. Pine Medow Bo timber chopper Dan bred female. I will try to figure out how to post a pedigree. .

Thanks Chris. I am not on here much but I know some are not on Facebook. Most people do not know JT’s dad but when you look into redbones in the winners circle or the type of hounds that can compete with the other breeds JT’s dad Nt Ch’ Pr McCormicks Flamin True Grit has been the sire some of them. JT’s mom NtCh Ch Smiths West Ky Curley Is owned by Chris and was high scoring redbone female at AO I believe? Now JT’s half brother Tuck has placed in the Top 4 of the Grand 16 of autumn oaks as a 2 year old. I am fairly new to the breed and our only requirement is a coon dog at the end of the chain but this bloodline has a lot to offer the redbones in the competition world and we are taking notice.

Congratulations to you and JT, that was an awesome run! Keep up the great work. It's great to hear that another one of Crocketts offspring is doing well.

World Nt Ch Redbone

There looks to be a lot of interest in JT after he won world nt ch redbone. There have been several interested in pups and breeding their quality redbones. JT should be breeding his first female in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for the interest!

A hand full of people have came to hunt with JT and several have booked pups. We have a few of our own females to breed that are well made and bred but most of all they are coon dogs. Several others have verbally committed to breed coon treeing females as well. Thanks to everyone for the interest in JT and for your patience as we are not stud dog owners per say lol. Thanks Gerad.

JT’s first cross has been made!

The JT x Pistols Twisted Sister Cross has been made! Sister is a very nice coon hound that likes to get alone and is good about having her coons. Sister gets gone alone or in company and is out of Clint Burgers Gr Nt Ch Pkc Silver ch? And Nt ch Pigeon River Penny who is a litter mate to pigeon river Jim and several others. Sister is double Banjo 3 with a very impressive pedigree. We hope to see some pups coming in a few months.

Thanks for all the interest in JT’

We have had a lot of interest in breeding and pups with JT and we appreciate that. We have bred two quality females and are excited to see JT’s first litters. We have also been asked what are plans are for JT- right at the moment we are hunting him down preparing for a RQE that is coming up to try another run at the world hunt. We have discussed also hitting some PKC hunts as well. One thing we were worried about is how JT would take to breeding and as of right now it does not affect him that we have noticed. Thanks for all the interest. Gerad.

Are y'all going to hunt JT at National Redbone Days? They will have an all Redbone RQE on Thursday night.

Posted by Gerad Berresfor on 03-13-2020 02:20 PM:

Richard

Due to work and other obligations, I do not believe that we will be able to make It to Redbone days this year. We had hoped to bring JT, Thorn, Anne this year but I don't for see that happening unfortunately. Looks like we will have to try to beat the walker dogs to get a ticket to the zones lol.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 03-13-2020 04:49 PM:

Well darn.... Those walker dogs are easy to beat. The real competition will be the Redbones at NRD's.
