Import awaiting export pedigree

Hello! I have a new dog that imported from Europe. I have not yet received his export pedigree from the breeder but would like to register him for an upcoming show. Is there a temporary registration or a special exemption for this type of situation? Hopefully I can get my paws on his pedigree soon, but I know this breeder is slow in sending things and the international mail is even slower. I appreciate any hep and advise you can send my way! Depending on the breed, you may be able to purchase a Temporary Listing (TL) number. What breed is your dog?

He's a golden retriever.
How do I get a temporary listing? I'm very new to UKC, so please bear with me.

You can purchase a TL number for a Golden Retriever. You may do so by calling our Dog Events Department at 269-343-9020. You can also do so through our website by going to the Dog Events tab and the TL Numbers tab.
