Mr. Lambert

I want to clarify my post, I advocate taking good care of ALL of ones dogs period. I DO NOT think a dog with medical issues should be put down if the meds make the dog healthy. I do not agree with anyone saying otherwise. I only agreed with Daltons position that not everyone takes good care of their dogs or use preventive measures to prevent their dogs from getting certain diseases. Culling is something that rests solely on every individual and I do not have a say in others business. I did not cull the dog I owned with thyroid issues, he was a good coondog and had been neutered, I sold him. Dave

I'm not sure what's worse, thyroid or droopy eyes you have to get operated on...Lol!

My belly is droopier than my eyes lol.

The thing about the thyroid dogs that gets me is these dogs are performing at a high level and don't even feel good, you have to wonder if they weren't sick the type dog they would be.

Edd I think the medicine the owners are giving the dog are to give the owners more confidence! The dog don’t need it all they need is clean water , a good diet and instead of being in a hunt every night they need to stay at home and be conditioned. It would take a mentally tuff dog to be in these hunts every night and not feel beat up after a while. I think that’s for most part why they are giving the dog a little help to make it through the night.

99 out of 100 of these so called thyroid dogs aren't actually thyroid dogs.

Hypo and Hyperthyroidism have physical symptoms that none of these dogs are showing, but They will go through a rough stretch and the handler has to have an excuse for it, so they start shoving soloxine down their throats till they die.

Most of the time the dog just needs a break, or a different handler
