At Stud - GRNTCH Schmidt's Roughneck Little John

Like most, I’m very proud of my GRNTCH, because having raised his parents, and having hunted with many others in his line, he’s exactly what I bred him to be... very consistent and highly capable.

I took John to his first hunt, right at a year old. It was a Walker Sectional and he placed 3rd. I took him to Walker Days and although he looked very good, he ran out of steam on the last drop. That was the only cast he lost, as registered. I got preoccupied with my career and didn’t take him to another hunt that year. The next year he qualified for the UKC World Hunt, with a second place and another second place at Walker Days on Saturday night, with 1025 plus, no minus.

As a NTCH he won 8 out of 10 casts, to make GRNTCH. Last year, my 11 year old son took him to 4 state youth championships and he won all 4. My son is a pretty good handler, but it’s not hard with this dog.

I’m not in the most ideal location, here in New England, but I do make several trips each year to Indiana. If you're looking for a heavy Clover/Lipper stud, call me at (219)614-0654 or message me with questions.

Just booked a heavy Clover female, for when she comes in heat. White Trash on top and bottom.

Another heavy Clover female, waiting to come in heat. She's super loud... GRNT Skuna River Bear on top, with double Clover on the bottom. She goes back to The Joker, as does John.

John will be in Indiana the week before July 4th, and through that weekend.

He will be in West Virginia the weekend of July 24th, for Youth Nationals.
