GRNT CH WIZARD OF OZ at Stud!!!

We thought we would throw it out there if anyone is interested in using Oz this next year. He has been used very little in the stud pen. I have done some investigating and what pups that are out there are pretty impressive and not going to be easily bought. We just raised a litter out of him and our Hanna female and people are still calling about wanting one of them.

Oz is a UKC GRNT and HTX he is a PKC Ch with over $3300 won.
He is a very competitive style dog. My brother loves hunting him because he says he knows when he cuts him loose he is going to get something done and something done pretty quick!

His will be paid up as a 2019 performance sire and is also a 2019 SS sire.

My brother Stacy and my son Hudson are at the Winter Classics with the old man OZ!!! Look them up if you are there. We are hoping for a good outcome and that he is on. We had a very close call with him a little over a week ago. Oz fell off a bluff into a rock pile and we thought we lost him. after a few days he seems like he is back to himself. Hopefully so.

He did pretty good friday night. 1 slick and 2 coons. One my brother got out handled on and the other was in a den. My brother and one other hunter could see it the other 2 could not. Sat night all dogs got separated. Spent 40 minutes of the first hour on leash going to different dogs. Bad weather was coming in and cast called time out and wanted to wait to see if weather blew threw. One had a coon so they decided to call it a night. So not in any results. They had a good time. Well just have to try the next one.

We have had

a lot of inquiries about breeding to OZ. These have been some top females. I am excited and hope some of these come through.

We have a female in the works that I think we have bought. I am really excited about making this cross. All i will say right now is Boomer x Ruby!!!

i will keep you in mind for sure. We just picked her up, so we own the female. Now we just have to wait and see if she comes in and we can make it happen. It is a gamble because she is old but I felt it was well worth the try.

We want to thank

Mike Ford for selling us his female. We have been wanting to try this cross for a while and he gave us the opportunity to try it. Our commitment was to do our best to make this happen and he gets a pup back.

We now have:

She is old and never been in a nite hunt but we are going to even give that a try. The way i look at it is if a dog can stay with the same owner in these TN hills for 8 years then they are better than average!!! He had this girl since she was 6 weeks old. We will try to give her a chance at making a NTCH at the least.

Not quite sure.

She is going to be penned with him just to be safe. i actually have about a half acre fenced in where Oz stays so they have plenty of room.

I owned Oz for about a year before he was titled. He is a nice hound. Hard going, independent, good mouth and good about having a coon when treed. I raised a litter of pups out of him, and had good feed back on his pups. Nice hound that needs to be bred to more nice females.
