Dog box Plastic

I've been looking at lighter dog boxes. Does anyone have one of these? They seem like a nice box nothing fancy. Anything else out there? Thanks. BOB

I have one for my small truck. Over 20 years old .
They are pretty tough, sturdy, and durable too. I made mistake of putting it on top of something I was hauling without strapping it. Wind caught it at 50 mph. Bounced and rolled a few times. Got road rash on a few corners But still in use with no problems.
One thing I did not like. Because these are totally enclosed with no over hang or door drip strip . Rain will get in them and lay.
I drilled 4 drains on each corner .Then I hand made a 4 inch rain guard across the front out of a piece of old siding and screwed it over the doors. Works real well.
Yes I do recommend them.
Prices have nearly doubled what I paid.

In the summer time I don’t keep my box in the truck like I do in the winter, if I have a wild hair to go I take the pet porter crates that may weigh 5 pounds a piece and throw them in the truck. You can buy them for next to nothing used. Nothing fancy but they get the job done and keep the dogs cool.

Check out the Gunner Kennel it is heavy duty plastic,little expensive but if I was going with plastic,this is what I would invest in.

I work construction and I always think of those plastic port a pots,hot in the summer and will freeze your a$$ in the winter,I never want my hound in something like that in the sun,just my opinion....
