Public Hunting

What is the best public hunting in the Eastern part of the country. Looking to take a trip in the fall and looking for some information

White River Refuge
Almost hate to post about it on a public forum because it's already crowded, but every coonhunter shoud go experience it. A dog with some sense and a halfway decent handle can tree a ton of coon down there. Miles of huge timber, flat woods, good access.
Haven't been in a couple years and it's weather dependent (flooding in wet years), but when the stars align you can tree a dozen a night and not work too hard doing it.
