Dc40 constantly losing connection

I have a dc40 that looses connection all the time and it will just come back all the sudden. Any idea what causes this? It is progressively getting worse.

I had the same thing. The antenna gets rusted and there is a little spring in there that rusts and breaks. You don't need the spring. Just get a new antenna and attach it with the eyelet and you will be good. Let me know if that was the problem.
