2 year old male

My 13 year old son bought this dog to get started coon hunting about a month and a half ago. We’ve had him out 6-7 times by hisself. He loves to tree. We have never hunted him with another dog. He’s a close hunter. Some times doesn’t want to leave our feet but if you keep walking he will eventually go hunting. He has run 3 tracks and treed. It was 2 dens and a slick tree. We saw a coon out in a field one night and turned him loose on it. He did run and tree it. We have also turned 2 different cage coons out on him and he ran and treed them. He does take a little time to settle on the right tree. He just needs hunting but now my son has decided to play baseball this year and that is starting so we don’t have time to take him.
