iPhone app

I would gladly pay for an Ukc iPhone app. Any thoughts in this?

What kind of App are you looking for? You can download the rule book onto your phone using one of the reading apps. I use Kindle. There is also an app for keeping time for the hunts. I have not used it yet, but it includes a hunt timer, and individual timers when you put each dog on the clock.

I want one that makes the forums more user friendly so it's easy to post pics.

The hunt timer app. Was only available for androids. I got it but ukc says you can't use it. It's got Pkc to though and you can use it there. Its handy!

What was UKC's reason for not allowing it?

Iphone or Itouch

Has ukc not allowed both of these or just the iphone. The timer app is great. Very easy to use and organized.
The itouch has no way of cummunicating unless you take your wifi in the woods with you. LOL

Keep pushin. ukc/breed assoc. is a tad bit behind when it comes to the use of technology for their participants.
Seems everything has to be proposed/voted by the breed ass.
Rule changes made every so often (too long between rule change meetings)
with technology changin every 6-12 mths.,these rules change meetings should be sooner between meetings.JMO

Anybody know how often these rule change meeting R?

But on the other hand we cant be changeing rules to suit every new product that cums on the market.

Just wish common sense would be implimented when warranted!

It's not a phone, and you cant communicate with it without a wifi connection, I don't see why not. But, that's just my opinion, and we all know what that means....
