**Grnitech Smith Hardtime Rocky 1988 Purina Champion**

Grnitech Smith Hardtime Rocky was the 1988 Purina Champion. I just wanted to share a few pictures of him. I did have the honor of hunting with this great hound back in the last 80's and early 90's. All I can say he was a coondog from tailgate to tree. I was in one of my favor hunting grounds last week and recalled a great hunt with him. One nite we cut the dogs on the river bottom and it was snowing. It was a bad nite but Richard wanted to go. Old Rocky falled tree about a 1/2 mile away from us. You talking about a tree dog man he was treeing. When we got to the tree it had a big split and a hole. Rocky was standing on the wood looking up with his front feet locked into the wood.We looked up in that hold he had that coon and I have had a Rocky bred hound since. Just wanted to share a little nite in the woods with GRNITECH Smith Hardtime Rocky.

I have a female that has Rocky 6 times in 5 gen and can get it done very hard tree dog I am going to start showing her off in some hunts very quick.

My old nitch female is out of Rooster and a female that goes back to rocky at least 4 times. She is the type of dog you get off a tree somewhere even at her age now. She is a belly up hard treedog also, and I think that she is made about as nice as any.

Grnitech Smith Hardtime Rocky and Grnitech Powers Red Cloud

Had some good nights in the woods with Rocky. Went on a hunt one time with Rocky and his son RED CLOUD. It was a nite to remember. Split trees and coons all around a peanut fields. This was some good hunting. They put on a show and a coon tree exhibition. They were treeing 40 ft from each other and taking pressure. A year late Grnitech Powers Red Cloud went on to place in the UKC WORLD HUNT.

If you want to know about DRUM give me a call . He is not perfect but a nice dog , that will split and hold and have the coon. But will cover other dogs if they have the coon . He is about 120 min. tree dog that does not chew or jump around and will not fight will just back off the tree and let them have it. He was a natural just took him hunting that was all . Like I said not perfect but a nice dog .....
