Minnesota hunters---

Remember that the fancy thermal imaging equipment you bought can not be with you when you have a firearm or bow in possession for taking wild animals.

And when using a dog to retrieve wounded deer or bear, it has to be on a 30 foot lead or less and the owners name and phone number must be on the dog. You must be in blaze orange or pink and whoever's animal you are tracking that has the license must be with you. (setting in the truck isn't being with you) And remember that the legal hours to shoot are 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset. So if you are out there 1/2 hour after sunset, you better hope its dead.

Coon hunters you also have be in blaze orange or pink during rifle/slug season and muzzleloader season. I had a very nice conversation with the heads of the DNR about getting that law changed from "season" (1/2 hour before sunrise opening day to 1/2 hour after sunset closing day) to read that you must be in blaze orange/pink 2 hours before sunrise to 2 hours after sunset each day of deer season with rife-slug or muzzleloader.

Also very nice talk on getting it so we can hunt bear with hounds. They recommend us to talk with our local legislators put were very open to listening to what I had to say.
