Will having a cur inside the house make him a better hunting dog or ruin him ?

Nope...a hunting dog is born to hunt...better handling makes him better...conditioning makes him better....
Conditioning...if the dog is an indoor dog in a controlled environment such as 70 degrees F...and then you take him on a hunt in snow and 20 degrees F., then that will probably affect his performance no matter how good he is...

Tie them outside from a pup....Have a dog house full of straw in case you have nosey neighbors that know nothing about actual dogs.....BE SURE TO HAVE FRESH WATER, for your dog and, nosey neighbors.... bring the dog inside when it is quiet, and give it food.......bark collars are cheap, and work.....
