Was treeing

Was treeing when leaves were on trees. Now leaves are gone ain't treeing 6mnth wsl . Someone suggested leaves are to dry. Squirrels hear her coming hundreds of yards away.It does sound like a cow coming thru woods . We hunt at house. Any ideas?
