with everyone's experience when have you noticed a old start to having trouble doing what he/she done when they were younger? tracking/ treeing/ finishing a track
ive got a 9 year old that starting to show his age in the woods ☹️

It’s awful when they start doing that. I usually see it after that 8 year old mark. Makes one sad.

In my very limited experience It depends on how good they were at their peak and how hard they have been hunted along with what kind of care they received.
I’ve seen 6 year olds that was wore out and seen 10 year olds looking sharp.
If you hunt one about 350 nights a year, six hours a night they’re old at six years old.
