Mountain Cur Registration

I have a Mountain Cur that is registered with OMCBA. I have not had her registration papers put into my name with OMCBA but would like to register her with UKC. My question is can I do so without having the OMCBA papers in my name so long as the former owner on the OMCBA papers had signed the bill of sale on the back of the papers? I don't plan to do anything with the OMCBA and would prefer to not have to pay a membership fee to them and registration fee to them just to be able to register with UKC to participate in UKC events.

Yes you can. You need to fill out the OMCBA papers as if you were going to send them in, but then just make a copy of them and send the copy to us along with our Cur Application for Single Registration, which you can download from our website. The application will tell you what else you need to include as well as the fee.
