I just copied and pasted the following from a separate post that is incorrect information that I've read on here more than once lately...

"One thing to consider, I have seen where someone asked if they could draw casts because all casts were back by 12 but late deadline was 1. Make your late deadlines 12 and have guys hunting in the first round enter there dogs for the second round before they go hunting early. You can draw them out at 12 and these hunters have 1hr to get back from hunting after draw out before they are scratched. That way if everyone is back early they don't need to set around and wait till 1. they can get out there right after 12."

The info above is completely wrong. Do not allow clubs to draw out cast until the late round hunt SIGN UP advertised deadline has expired. It does not matter how long you have to wait after returning scorecards from the early rounds. Yes you may sign up for the late hunt before leaving or when you return but cast cannot be drawn until the late round hunt sign up advertised deadline has expired!

Double headers are ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER HUNT AND ARE TREATED AS 2 SEPARATE HUNTS AND DEADINE RULES APPLY JUST LIKE THE REGULAR 2 HOUR HUNTS YOU ALL HAVE ATTENDED AND SOME FOR DECADES!!!
What some are doing is no different than if you showed up before a little before a 7 PM deadline only to find that cast have already drawn out.

No this is not incorrect. In the summertime most dead lines are 1. Instead of making them 1 make them 12. Have the guys hunting early sign up for the late round that want to hunt late before they go hunting. You could have the early hunt deadline for returning score cards at 12:30. The guys out hunting have 1hr to get with there cast or be scratched. so they could bring there score card back at 12:29 an the score card would be back in time and the hunters could hunt the late round as they could be with there cast before the hour scratch would get them.

This post is much clearer than your previous you are saying make the advertised hunt sign up time earlier. In your other post it read to me and others you were suggesting them drawing cast and putting the time on others even though the advertised deadline had not passed yet. I get what you are saying now.
There has been more than one post suggesting drawing cast before the sign up deadline has passed and for some reason there seems to be confusion and just impatience of clubs on sitting and waiting on that late deadline to be reached before they draw out.
Bottom line whatever the advertised deadline is early round, late round or regular hunt they are all the same and cast cannot be drawn out until it is reached.
