Female having issues

My female is coming 3 just had litter of pups back in April all dried up and pups weaned. I started back hunting her and also switched from Victor 24/20 to Purina 21/12..She's a tree dog 120+ barks a minute. She's been sneezing really bad and she sounds like herself on track but when she's getting treed she seems to be chocking and her bark is but a muffle and slobbering slinging and covering her whole head. I know it's hot but all dogs she's hunting with aren't having this problem. She will not drink until she has completely settled down from treeing. Anybody have any suggestions or idea what maybe wrong.

Sounds allergy related with the sneezing. Put her on zyrtec once a day for a week and see what happens. Also is there any bedding in her dog house? If you have put shaving or anything else in it clean it out.

Blood work

Over the years I've learned having a vet run blood work is money well spent. Often times something shows up and you can get them the medicine they need. I like the rural small town vets that serve farmers. They don't charge a fortune for their services.

For allergy issues which we deal with here in our line of dogs just about every summer the vet can give them a shot. Usually a depo-medrol it last pretty good for around 3 weeks. It's not recommended for most dogs long term use but works great for during the peak of allergy season and just a couple of shots a year. I recommended the zyrtec because it is the other med we use if they haven't had a shot and are sneezing and have irritated eyes.
I never recommend an allergy shot for a sick dog as it is a steroid which blocks the immune system responce. I have saw dogs that have had sinus infections that also required an antibiotic to go along with the allergy medication.
Hope that is all that is wrong with your female because it is an easy fix. But if it is it she may do it every year in the spring/summer especially when pollen counts are high and maybe even when it gets really dry and dusty.
