Southern pines jet vs coon lake force

If you were looking to breed your old blooded female to one of these two dogs for big game hunting, which would you choose?

Has anyone had pups off either one of these two dogs and used them on bear.

Southern pines jet

I heard a lot of good things out of pups from this dog. Good well balanced dogs I'd possibly be interested in a pup if you had a litter

jet

My female is full of old blood. She's Neosho river top and bottom.
With some dohoneys, Kansas dancer, Finley river and spring Creek rock. And Meyers pee-wee and Meyers bam bam. All this blood is in her 4 generations.

Sounds like she has a lot of good blood in her. What do you all use her for?

Don’t know anything about Force. Years back I had a direct daughter out of Jet and a Dohoneys Boone daughter. Although I don’t know about Bear hunting, she was a great coonhound. She had a ton of heart and grit!! I raised her from a pup and she lived out her life here until she died. Only hound to this day that I can say that about, she was special. I have Blueticks now but would seriously consider buying one if you bred to Jet.

I've been using her on bear since 6 months, been doing a he'll of a job for me. Been my jump dog since year and a half. Mellow laid back dog, but has grit and never gives us. I coon hunted her as a pup and ran her on coyotes a couple times. Been wanting to try her on cats. Her sister is a top notch lion dog in canada.

You might consider breeding to the Ole Chip dog owned by Steve Hurd in New Hampshire. He is a Nelson Cole bred dog doubled up on the Musket dog. There is also a shot of Lipper in his pedigree and Minklers Kansas Storm dog. Lots of the real good old nance stuff. Chip is 10

The Minklers Kansas Storm dog is off of Kansas Dancer who is off Neosha River Jet.

Dancer sired southern pines Jet so your are getting right back into the good stuff but not real tight

I'm trying to keep this line going. I wanna keep it line bred. But thanks, I have semen stored on my old male who is half white cloud and half nance.

I'm looking for a heavy Neosho river, Kansas dancer, or spring Creek male. Keeping it line bred I have a lot better chance of having a whole litter of good pups.

If I knew of a male that was 50% or greater from Doug Meyers line I would consider breeding to that. But you don't see Meyers blood dogs anymore or it is all watered down or full of the new coon lines.
