Fall Nights

At last, we are getting into my kind of coon hunting weather, nice days in the 70's and nights in the 50's. Season opened Sept 18 and the weather has been nice, not to hot and not to cold, dogs treeing hard on these cool nights. Just something special about hunting in the Fall, but I enjoy the winter months without the leaves the most. Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and treeing a lot of coons. Dave

Fall

Been waiting on these cool nights- season doesnt open til mid October here but these cool nights have me itching for it bad! I'm like you- love it when all the leaves get off and the air is crisp and cool at night!

Fall Nights

Nice weather for the first 5 nights of kill season, counting tonight, but the rain is coming late tonight for the next couple of days. ( Thursday and Friday ) Still good hunting weather, almost October like weather and I am loving it. Hope every one is hunting and having a great time. Dave

It's got for me where the Fall just means I lose about 75% of my good spots to hunt. Any private land here won't let me go during deer season. Really frustrating. I'm sure it's much the same elsewhere- but here we don't have public land to coon hunt.

Some government land here, but I hunt all private land, deer season not a problem for me, thankfully. One drawback is the steep mountains and big ridges, but we are used to them, still enjoy my hunting trips up North and the flat lands with plenty of coon to tree. Dave
