MSUCHA Annual Sportsmen Banquet

Michigan State United Coon Hunters Association 5th Annual Sportsmen Banquet.

Friday night February 22, 2013

VFW Hall 4075 Huron Street North Branch, MI. Huron Street is M90. The VFW Hall is on the north side of the road downtown North Branch, and parking is in the rear.

Doors open @ 5:00 PM
Catered Dinner served @ 7:00 PM

Tickets are $25.00/adult and $10.00/16 and under kids.

Other events of the night include:
auction, raffles, many prizes to numerous to count, and the Gun Barn will be there again this year.

This event is open to everyone.

If your club need tickets, let me know. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Banquet ?

How was the turn out for the banquet last friday ? Who won the Garmin collar ? Do i need to travel to pick it up ?

Howdy Gary,

I think we had pretty close to the number we had last year, but i don't know the exact numbers for sure. The auctioneer won the Garmin. Willard brought a couple of young men with him and bought them each 13 tickets for $10.00. Both young men won a gun off the raffle tables. Willard seemed to have too much fun! Jim Wales won a gun from the Gun Barn.

The story of the night had to be the planet and stars must have been misaligned. Me, Larry Atherton the guy who rarely wins anything, walked up to both raffle tables several times!

I won a large dog bed, a game trail camera, a Stanley S.S. Wet Dry Vacuum, a pair of leather gloves, a plaid blanket, a box of wildflower seeds for the wife, and a bottle of white wine for the misses.

We did miss you and the misses. All in all, it seemed to be a good night.
