Grass seed in dogs lung
Do any of y’all have much experience with it? I’ve had one surgically removed from a dogs side and one removed from a sinus cavity before. I’ve got probably the best dog I’ve ever owned that has one in his lung. Nearly lost him last December from bleeding from his lung. Now it’s flared up again. Vet says try to hunt him mostly in the cooler months when there isn’t as much pollen to irritate it. Says it will always flare up occasionally. Just makes me sick.
Grass seed in lungs
Yes I have heard of it as my cousins lab got some Fox tail grass seed and had an awful time getting it out. Fox tail grass is real bad for the seeds migrating through the body.Good luck with your dogs recovery.

I've got a hound who chews a good bit. He's come up with Aspirated Pneumonia from chewing vines and such.. crazy...
Grass seed
I had one with the seed in her ears they just keep on going deeper, saw the vet pull them out. Look like a little spear. Knew something was wrong with her treeing. Also had a dog with one between his toes made a really nasty sore. Can just imagine what it would do to a lung. Hope he gets better! JesseJ

Re: Grass seed
quote:He’s out of Whole 9 Yards and a Gr Nt Reezen female. He’s sure a dandy. I probably should breed him to my Reezen female but I don’t want to mess with raising a litter of pups.
