Toilet Paper

What kind of person freaks out and hoards toilet paper? I can't hardly believe it but all stores all across the USA have suddenly sold out of toilet paper. What started this? Did every household in the whole country suddenly decide to go out and buy enough toilet paper to last for 3 months? I am flabbergasted. I guess that this has something to do with the Corona virus but I don't know what.
But then I can't figure out why the Mayor of my city declared a Citywide Emergency and cancelled all city gatherings. There isn't a single case of Carona Virus in the whole Eastern half of our State. There are 3 cases in Nashville and they stemmed from a man that flew to Boston and back. But this is a "National Emergency"? I just don't understand. It is a good thing that our coon club is in the county. We are hosting the Bud Ramsey Memorial Plott Sectional this weekend. We will have hunters from 4 or 5 different states.

The local newspaper is only 45 cents I can wipe for a week with it and got several old phone books lol.

Stores here are sold out too. I just don't get it. I did my weekly shopping today and needed toilet paper - just the normal routine. We're down to our last roll. That old phrase, "it's curtains" is starting to make sense but...eeeew. Thank God for paper napkins.

If you don't think that people are over reacting to all of the Corona Virus fears, just go to the Wal Mart and try to buy a roll of toilet paper. I am going to go to the closest school and stock up. Since they have closed them, they don't need it.

Just read a story about 2 brothers renting a u haul trailer driving across Tennessee buying any hand sanitizer and face masks. They raised up the prices and sold on Ebay and Amazon until they got shutdown. Paid a dollar and sold for twenty plus even as high as eighty.

I work at a paper mill trust me we got plenty of toilet paper.

And we ship 75% of our paper over seas.

Besides food, toilet paper might be one of the few things found ( or not ) in Wal-Mart, seems like 90% of everything there I'd made in China. Lol. Dave

We FOUND SOME!!! Not at Walmart, they were sold out again! And no SPAM, I didn't know many people ate it.
But no problem, the freezer is full of trout and venison, we'll be eating Redneck Surf and Turf.

Oh my goodness, people have been calling 911 because they ran out of toilet paper. The police in Oregon made an announcement to not call them. It was unclear if it was because they didn't have any either or they just didn't want the calls.

I just saw on the TV that beer companies are going to close down. Everyone had better run to the store and stock up before they run out. It maybe 3-4 months before they start back.
