The Pride Chicken and Rice dog food

Just saw in a store that The Pride dog food company has came out with a grain free feed, not the Pro Series that they have had out for a long time. I just ordered a couple bags, $31 for 40 pounds.

Anyone have any experience feeding it yet?

I’m not sold on grain free but I do have a couple dogs that do better on grain free. I’ve fed Loyall, Nutreena, Diamond, and Valu Pak grain free but have mainly fed The Pride dog food for years so was wondering if anyone had fed their grain free since it has only been out this year.

I just started a bag of pride 31-22....it was $35 for a #50. Seems great so far, but I'm still in the mixing stage

Ron, I've fed that feed too. Mainly with pregnant females, pups, and also mixed it in during super cold stretches. That is really good feed in my opinion and if I was hunting the hair off of a dog I'd feed it in a heartbeat. It's almost grain free too. It's around $30 a bag down here. Only thing I saw with it was that the stool was really black and a little loose so took a little while longer for the dogs to adjust to it but once they did everything straightened out and actually had less stool. I just don't hunt the dogs hard enough anymore for them to need that much protein and Kcals.
