Hi Eddy, Maybe if things go right Trevor an I can make a trip. Trevor would like to see folks come up this way to see Old Zac Run Because there has been A lot of folks interested in breeding to the little guy. If we went to all the folks that wanted to see him run, Trevor and I would need to take air flights all over the globe man. Maybe you can talk to Trevor an set up a time to see him run up this way if we can't make it up your way. Zac is a nice hunting hound the way he hunts reminds me of Sasha. Zac will just disappear and then finally Zac will open up on a rabbit. Zac is a brush beating hound, if there is a pile, thicket, he will go in it.

UPDATE:
After a long search for a true Jiggs breed male we finaly found Zac in a neighboring state and went to see him run. Zac had been rabbit hunted for years and never trialed but impressed us that day and even more since then. When arranging the breeding it was brought up that he was for sale. After working together to figure out if we could purchse him, we ventured into a partnership which brought him to Ohio. We ran him some and now decided to try him in a few trials at 8.5 years old. He has impressed us so far and hope this will answer any questions of his ability. He is a fine hound which we are proud to own and he will become the foundation for breeding my beagles. I love trialing and want beagles that run every format and Zac is proving he has that ability even at an older age.

Been running Zac in some trials and thought I would update this page.
9-3-11 PKC hunt Piketon Oh (did well but didn't place)
9-9-11 Berea KY AKC Midwest trial (made the finals cast)
9-17-11 Coshocton Ohio ARHA progressive pack Ohio State hunt 2nd place (30 dogs)

Trevor and I ran the hounds yesterday afternoon. Frenchmans Zacary Last, Hill Shakers Little Candy Girl ran so good together. Every Time I see Zac run I am more impressed how he can jump rabbits, run the track, Work a check from inside out. Just to let everyone know something about me "JIM" I have been a perfectionist all my life and will not settle for anything else. When I saw Zac run for the first time I knew he had a gift, that gift is now unfolding to a reality that is meeting my expectations. Zac is a fine rabbit hound, he is something that you all should consider breeding to { If you are looking for a true rabbit hound } Zac is all that we are talking about. Thanks. Jim Harrison

Got to run with this dog Saturday and was very impressed. He hunted hard and looked good. At his age and not being in the best of shape he had a ton of heart. He definitely held his own with some of the better little males around. Congrats on the 2nd at North Central.

I was very happy with his performance this weekend. I think he ran the last rabbit on heart alone. There were some very nice hounds in the hunt and I seen some good running. Ernie and I were very excited when they keep picking up dogs and only two were left. What a day for the old man (Zac).

Will Frenchmans Zacary Last has breed another fine female today. I am sure the pups will be really nice hunting beagles. Don't let your pride get in the way " it's ok to try something different" Zac is a awesome hound that can help put the quality's in any hound { Making a better hunting beagle} Zac is not getting any younger so don't pass up this awesome opportunity.

3rd Brankos Doc Watson
4th Alfreds daylight time Moe
5th Oldtowns track on Shorty

Where having fun with this old man.

Zac is nursing an injury but should be back in action soon. I think the injury was from getting kicked by a horse the judge was riding in an AKC trial.

Candy and Zac had some nice looking tri-color puppies. I will be adding a picture of little Jazzy to this post when I get a chance. God has blessed me with Jazzy and I am so thankful. I am very happy with this cross. Thanks, Jim

This is just amazing a 8 1/2 year old hound winning and placing in AKC hunts. Zac keep up the nice work , At this rate Zac will be a FC Soon {GRIN}
OH! Did we minchin Zac is at stud? Zac is a awesome hound.

Just would like to add to post Zac throughs some awesome looking pups. Hill Shakers Little Candy Girls female pup is growing and is a healthy awesome looking tri color. I think the pup will be 13" maybe 14" tall. The pups name is Couch Potato Jims Jazzy Jigs. So in the future everyone can expect some amazing accomplishments from this cross. Don't pass up a opportunity to bred your FC or awesome female to Zac { you want be sorry you did } If you do your home work you just might have the next world champion from this stud hound
{ FRENCHMANS ZACARY LAST } Grandson of the famous The Elms Jigs Maggie's Mate. This is a nice hunting beagle that can run a rabbit like he owns it, with the best line control I ever saw. Zac's hunt is a 9 out of a 1 to 10 Zac is a very nice jump dog. Zac's speed, to control the track and keep the rabbit between his legs I would say it's a 8.5 but remember Zac is almost 9 years old and he can perform very well at that age. Zac will hold the track together when he is put with other hounds making turns that puts him in a class by him self. Zac has been running in some AKC hunts, Zac has been put in " ran" with some of the best hounds out there. Just to name a few of these awesome hounds Zac has ran with Black Hawk Down, Denny Dugan's Doc Watson, Eyers Jerico, Gary Bidwells Ozie dog an Zac held his own with these powerful hounds. If you would like to see Zac run just call any time.
