Need 2013 bluetick days so i can turn in vacation slip at coal mine.

This is what I was saying in another post about them not updating the web site so people can get the time off. They need to have it listed on their web site at the first of every year so everyone has a chance to put in for the time off. By doing this it would most likely increase the numbers at Bluetick Days and the Reunion.

As for your question, who knows when or where they have Bluetick Days or the Reunion. There is no place to find it without an updated web site.

You're right on dates & location. Mark this down guys- National Bluetick Days is ALWAYS the 3rd weekend in May- the weekend after Mothers Day..

Bluetick Reunion will be April 11, 12, 13 in Hawesville, Kentucky. Take care, Ron.

Birthdate

Hunt is May 16, so

Pup- born May 16 or younger- not over 1 yr. old
Junior- 1 yr. but not over 2 yr.
Senior- 2 yr. but not over 3 yr. anything before May 16, 2010 is too old. Take care, Ron.

Last couple of months JJ Callanhan has had in his monthly article the dates for the Reunion and the National ?? How can anyone say they don't know the dates when back in Jan-Feb he was writing about them in his column !!!

UKC official listing for all hunts is in coonhound bloodlines. dont care what a web site says if its not in the bloodlines then it dont mean spit. Get the magazine and you will always know upcoming events for BBOA and all UKC events.

I find the excuss of not having a web site updated to be just that an excuss, and another thing, if your following the Bluetick Coonhound National Bluetick Days has always followed the weekend after Mothers Day for the last 13 years............

I think that is something anyone would and could remember

I agree with you about bloodlines and knowing dates.
JJ is doing a great job.

But what about zone info?
Zone 2 it seems not one person knows what is going on.
Bloodlines had our zone championship for this weekend at Pa. Then we get a post on here saying no it is pa st championship. A few have asked questions with no reply.

One question was will they be selling mrmberships, one post was they will take your money and write address down.

Our vice chairman has had no contact with our top gun in zone.

There are two clubs who will not hold s BBOA event until s certain person is gone. He has screwed them both in past.

I was zone 2 chairman for 10 + years, I wish I would have had a tool like this to get info out.

Rob, time and energy use to make calls each month to try and talk to Charimans, BOD to find out info to place in the column and yep theis UKC site is great and I used it very often to keep up on the events coming up. Some Zones do a very good job but it is what someone puts into it and sometimes it just is not enough.

I had a very simple rule if your gonna bitch be prepared to fix the problem because a very simple rule of thumb is

What it the web site for, It is pitiful when a job is not done properly, like simply updating a web site for the members convience, speaking of excuses, what excuse is there for the web site not being updated, If an organization has a website you should not have to look in a book of any kind, poor business, this type of attitude and EXCUSES is why the organization has the Issues it recently has, poor Business practices, period.......Gerald
