Not since the mid to late 70's when Mr. MILTON STRAIN had the Great Redbone Woodpecker has there been a demand for pups like I'm seeing from this outstanding reproducing Bluetick, Leon's Darkside. I have personally waited 2 years and still trying to catch some litter not sold out or picked over. I'm now classified as a senior citizen and had hounds since the 60's so when I tell u a hound is hot and reproducing u can bank on it.

I do my research on dogs and i will say this Leon is reproducing well and out of different females.i dont own him and have nothing to gain from this but will gove credit when its due.

I just bred my grandnt walker to Leon she is directly out of bone collector and her mother is right out of skuna river fred she has a good mouth and likes to be by herself. Leon is without a doubt reproducing. Anyone interested in a pup let me or Paul know

Leon is the best bluetick I have ever been to the woods with .It doesn't surprise me one bit that he is reproducing so well ,he is bred right and his ability in the woods is really uncanny.He is hard to beat in competition ,ask anyone that has drawn him.I have drawn him a couple times ,never beat him ,and it wasnt because Paul was a slick handler.You guys that have nice blue females would be well advised to try a litter out of Leon. He's getting older and I'm sure he's slowing down some but I'm glad I got to see him go ,he is a true COONDOG.

You've done a hell of a good job promoting Leon. Not many in the breed put forth the effort anymore. Have a little GrNite female goes back to Betty on his bottom side that I bred to a male me and Jesse Nappin co-own together that I would like to talk to you about breeding to Leon her next heat cycle. She has had 2 litters and all have run and treed at a early age. She would work well with him I think. Wouldn't mind talking to you sometime.
