World Champs going Head to Head!!!

I want to thank Lane and Kevin most of all for allowing this to happen. It is going to be a fantastic event! All advertising proceeds will go towards the hunters expenses, and the UKC and PKC youth programs.

Hunt

Now that's what I call 2 hunters with 2 dogs that aren't afraid to show what they have, even though neither has anything to prove by doing so. Good to see these young guys and top dogs competing just for the love of the sport. Dave

Let them reserve champs hunt with em to make a 4 dog cast....it will be fun to watch these go, but a 2 dog cast is back and forth. I still love the idea though.

Advertising Rates for the Big Show Showdown are as follows.

30 sec spot (Commercial) - $275
15 sec spot - $150
Full Page ad style - $50

The commercials will be done by us with help from the buyer of course. The commercials are yours to keep as soon as the show is over. The proceeds for this will do nothing more than pay hunters and expenses, the rest will be donated to both the UKC and PKC Youth funds. Please contact us via messenger or email with any questions. You won't get better advertising rates for your business, or Stud dog than this.

Set up where you turn loose and charge people $20 to put the two collars in a Garmin so they can see what they’re doing. Sell coffee, take bets, etc. Dog owners split the profit. Make it a spectator deal too.

Getting 200 people into the woods and keeping them quiet in order to film and hear the dogs just does not sound like a very good idea.

You are right about that, this is a Hunt and not a circus. Dave

Agreed.......

If you have a couple cameras you could designate 1 camera to a Garmin or dogtra. Then some of these guys would understand that all dogs hunt and move around differently. But I also understand if these 2 men don't want the tracking system filmed. After all they're dogs not gods.

I cannot thank you ALL enough for attempting to bring an event such as this to the public. I for one have wanted to see a hunt like this for at least the past 35 to 40 years.

I want to thank each owner/handler for answering the call so to speak, to give us an opportunity to witness the HUNT OF A LIFETIME. Each of us have strived our whole life to put one of our dogs in the winners circle of a world hunt, yet only a few have been successful in doing so. And now to offer a chance to witness a Champion of Champions event, of world caliber, is a tribute to the sportsmanship and comrade shared by these owners/handlers.

I for one would like to thank EACH of you for being willing to show your hound under these conditions and circumstances.
God Bless you all for making a dream of mine come true.

I have always felt that the coonhound world deserved to watch a Champion of Champions event, much like they do in pro sports such as baseball, football, basketball, Hockey etc.

God Bless you all for trying to make this happen!!!

This is something that has been missing from competition coon hunting. I'm sure it's not easy to do it and do it right but with enough cameras and editing this should be a good deal. Can't wait.

Maybe moving forward and if the funds were available it would be possible to invite 2 years worth of world champions to the hunt.

2019 Pkc and UKC and the 2020 Pkc and UKC world champs then the next year the 2020 champs and 2021 champs. So on and so on.

Only one thing I been thinking about it will be a two dog cast. It will be in December so the new ukc rules will not be in effect yet. Both sets of rules will be under the leash lock rule. In a two dog cast that could be a tuff pill to swallow.
